ImageAbout the Code of Conduct:

GJ Guild is a casual group of friends who play a computer game together, not a business, coven, or secret society plotting to take over the world. As such, relaxing and having fun is a priority and enforcing behavior is an evil best avoided. So, "Rules" are as few as possible.

Rules:
* It is not OK to harrass, grief, or verbally abuse guild members or others in your party. (Criticizing a person's behavior is OK, criticizing the person themselves is verbal abuse.)

* Administrative privileges that go with one's guild rank are only to be used in a fair and equitable manner.

* Guild members shall never invite players to the guild without discussing the guild with them and shall never invite players with whom they have not spent enough time in-game or in real life to know they are a good match for the guild.

* Nobody who has been promoted to "Member" or higher shall ever be involuntarily removed from guild membership unless a consensus of guild officers or the Guild Master determines that they have violated one of these rules.

* Promotions are, at present, at the sole discretion of the guild leader.

* Promotions do not go with level. If you feel you want to be promoted so that you can recruit, for example, feel free to talk to the guild master about it.

* Ranks and their privileges may be reorganized at some point in the future. If this happens, please do not take it personally, because it will be to plan for the long-term and not about whatever's going on in the guild at the time.

Other thoughts:
* Cut each other some slack. People make mistakes and not everyone knows the game as well as everyone else.
* It's just a game. If you feel upset about anything that's going on in-game, take some time away and it probably won't seem so important.
